Doing some chores in the Tack room today and went to give the Daisy its monthly flip. I store it either muzzle down or muzzle up to let the lube run back and forth. Cocked it muzzle down and sure enough it did not pick up a BB but aimed and fired like it had. Second cock was muzzle up and I got a satisfying “thock” from a plastic soap bottle about 20 feet away.

It is down there to scare off the occasional Raccoon or ‘Possum With out really hurting them. Works for that.

Mainly I like to loft BBs at stupid ranges at stuff it will not damage.

Despite it being a kid’s gun and the pull being 4 inches short I enjoy plinking with it, but the furry nuisance animals don’t much care for it!

For the folks that care. Marked Daisy/Heddon, and has the brass Daisy Dime on the cocking fulcrum. Has what appears to be a Pine stock. Zinc cocking handle with plastic locking wedge. Screw out “barrel/gun” As you can see prominent fixed sights.

I think the Daisy/Heddon marked guns were made between 1970 and 1978 so 45 to 53 years old and still doing what it should.
