I don’t load Barnes bullets in anything but 450 Bushmaster bit as a fan of the 25-06, that looks like a winner to me.

I run in my Remington mohawk 243 cal.
Barnes TSX85 gr.over IMR 4064 36.9 grains of powder.
Deer don't walk drop in there tracks.
I harvested a nice buck 175 yards shot never took a step

Those look really interesting. Don't own a 25-06 at this point but hear good things about them. I have the 30-06 and 270 already so have been thinking back and forth between 25-06 and 6.5 Creedmore for my next project. I had a 257 BOB for a while but the throat was eroded when I got it then my cousin wanted it. It was a hand down from my grandfather so I gave it and dies to him.

As age creeps up on me 73 recoil is not in my vocabulary.
243 cal. Great deer cartridge I was lucky to recover a Barnes bullet full mudroom and did weight 85 grains

Not for 25-06, but I load the same weight and style bullet in my 243. Badassery on caribou.

I started loading the 80 grain TTSX last year in my .243 Win ..... I did not connect with any deer ....but it shoots less than 3/4" at 100 yards ...

8 shots in the dot(1/2" dot ) .... the right hole is a .25/06 110 grain Accubond...
