I was looking at the Barnes XPB bullets in .45
cal. at MIdway. FYI - The Barnes XPB bullets are
solid copper with a touch of zinc and guaranteed to
retain 99% bullet weight. So, I note
185 gr. HP
225 gr. HP
250 gr. HP
then they have
200 gr. HP named .46o (for the XVR S&W?)
All of these bullets are sized .451 so why
wouldn't it be ok to load the 200 gr. Barnes
XPB for .45 ACP or .45 Auto Rim ? I have
some .45 AR with the 225 gr. Barnes XPB
bullets but would also like to have the 200
gr. as I have 200 gr. Leadhead SWC and
200 gr. Hornady XTP and would like the
Barnes 200 gr. loaded to the same 1,000
FPS.
