I just picked up my bday present. Canik pt9fsx added a burris ff3. will be my new carry optics gun for steel challenge and uspsa. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet. will sight it in and shoot steal challange thursday night 20190509_113009.jpg 20190509_162408.jpg

Now order a Freedomsmith trigger and the spring kit from Galloway and you'll be set.

My buddy picked up a FDE TP9SFX last week. I told him the same thing I told you. He thought the trigger would be fine out of the box.

Tomorrow I'm installing the FS trigger and spring kit.

My SFX has them installed and has no takeup and breaks just under 3 lbs.

You have an arrow on the slide. Pointing. To the muzzle. To the MUZZLE... Where are we exactly - in the twilight zone perhaps?!?

P.S. Happy birthday! I do mean it! :)

Excellent choice.

A buddy who is an active FFDO (flightdeck officer: airline pilot Federal Agent) loves his identical Canik.
The FFDO guys train with about 5,000 rds. of ammo and are excellent shots, appreciating handguns with the best ergonomics.

A coworker wants to sell his to me. It's black with stainless slide.
He wants $400. It appears to be a safe queen.
Is this a good price, or is it too much?

Its perhaps one of the best values in 9mm range toys. My friend loves his. Congrats ...and happy birthday!

Will break it in tonight at or club steel challenge match. Should be interesting since I have not fired it yet.

So now after a 3 stage steel challenge match last night. Also the very first time I have fired this pistol. I can give a range report. Gun handles great, fits my hands perfectly. Shot 100 rounds of 124 gr new tech coated bullets,10 rounds of 124 gold dots with no failures at all. Only group I shot was 5 rounds at 25 feet, all 5 in 1 spot on the steel plate. I really like the very short reset on this pistol.

Hey Jaymo, I couldn’t respond to a post from years ago. Wondering if you still had those stock Rossi grips floating around.
