My friend doesn't have a 90-2, but he has two 92's, and USED to have several Kimbers, and a bunch of other high end 1911's. He sold them all off already, or I could have probably gotten you a great trade.
For him anyway. I doubt you would have been happy with it.
He had one Kimber that even after a couple tries at fixing it, just wouldn't run at all. Different mags, factory "adjustments", etc, were tried and it was a joke, a 1500 buck gun that was embarassed by $400 non-1911's. He's a wealthy guy, and has now soured on high end 1911s, and is now assembling a collection of 9mm and 45ACP guns of various prices that all seem to be able to do something none, repeat none, of his high dollar 1911's could do.
Shoot anything put in them, every time, or damn close to it.
If a company has the balls to charge close to 2K for a gun, it should shoot, right?
