Just need some input on how the Cheetah (standard NOT target model) compares to the P22. My guess is the Cheetah is a much higher quality gun than the Walther. Has Walther worked out the bugs on the P22?

Ultimately the gun will be wearing a "can" sometime down the road (NFA legit okay)

Thanks in advance,

KS

I really like the Cheetah 87. It's a very high quality gun. I've handled a walther P22 and although it was a neat handling gun, it didn't seem as solid as the Cheetah.

The Cheetah is sleek, well built, accurate and reliable. If I had to pick between the two, I'd choose the 87 over the P22.

See the link below for some info on the 87 and some links to a couple of high res pics.

I've a recent purchase Walter P22. Works great even with the cheapest of the cheap .22LR ammo. Also have a Beretta Cheetah 86 in .380 which is a great gun so I don't see how the similar 87 in .22 could be other than great.

Problem is, the Beretta will set you back 2X what the P22 will. I had a real hard time paying that much for a .380, but my wife loves it and it got her CHL qualified.
