What ammo are you finding works best in your Neos? Went thru several hundred Win White Box and about the same Remington Peters earlier this week. Numerous misfeeds, though most of them happened to my son (limp wristing?).

Kind of just rediscovered the 22 - both as an economy measure (3 days in a row at the range gets expensive) and as a reminder that pistol shooting is pistol shooting - my shooting has improved just using the hundreds of rounds that would be too hard to afford in my 45.

I shoot Federal Walmart 550's in mine with good results. A few FTF's every now and then, but nothing excessive.

Don't get discouraged yet. When I first bought my Neos, it had the same problem. It is a bit finicky with ammo (as many .22s can be). I eventually tried CCI Mini Mag and CCI Blazer and it shot with little or no problems. After a brick or so of the CCI it began to shoot much better with most other brands. I know the concept of a "break in" period is hotly debated on THR, but I think this particular gun may have one. Keep trying different brands until you find one it likes. Fortunately, with a .22 you can shop around and not go broke!

My Neos eats up Federal Lighting, Remington Thunderbolt, Remington Golden Bullet, Winchester Wildcat, and Winchester Super X equally well. Which means 2 to 5 duds or feed jams per 200 rounds.

CCI Stingers and CCI Minimags have been perfect. So far.

The best feeders are the round nose solid points. Anything with a triangulated shape to the bullet will have a feed jam once in a while.

I've only seen obvious limp wristing with new shooters firing my Neos. The Neos is not easy to limp wrist at all, but when someone is barely holding a pistol it's gonna happen.

Mine shoots fine with everything. Only problem I have had is with other people not seating magazines properly (you have to push the magazine a little to fully seat it, some people don't get it fully seated).

No difference with the 4.5 or 6.5 barrel. Both on same frame btw.
