Went to my "local" gunshop this morning with the intention to purchase a 20 ga. shotgun. I wanted a double, either s/s or o/u. They had the Mossberg's and Brownings, and a Franchi, and a Beretta. I have had two Brownings in the past, and am not all that much of a fan. I did like the Franchi, but they also had a Beretta Silver Pigeon. That gun felt so nice, that I just had to haggle. We, I ended up buying the Beretta. I paterned it and shall be going up to the Balto. area, next week, to visit family, and later head out to the NRA National Matches. I shall make an opportunity to give it a try at Traps, though. What a superb gun.:)

The more I use my B gun, nicknamed the White Onyx Playtoy, the better I like the design.

Good luck with yours. Remember they work best with regular exercise....

I've an old 687 "silver Pigeon" that is primarily a clays gun. It's heavier than I like for upland hunting (advancing age and more disposable income have allowed/necessitated other options). I like the relatively shallow receiver. It is a great dove and clays gun.

Both the silver pigeon and white onyx lines are great shotguns, possibly the best balanced in the world.

I only wish they came with two triggers.

WMD, Brian Cole guns will convert a Beretta to two triggers using factory parts. IIRC, about $200.

Cole is an authorized repair center for Beretta....

I bought my beretta glden snipe at my local pawn shop I paid 400 and something cant remeber the exact amount, I use it for dove and alway's get my limit.
