This might be a first. The model of Bersa Thunder .380 I have has the key lock allowing you to change from F to S. Needless to say, I always leave mine in the F position.

Well, i guess the internal lock has failed - at last Sundays range session, the trigger refused to engage. With a round chambered and the hammer back when I pulled the trigger, nothing happened! Trigger just wobbled back and forth when depressed but the gun didn't fire.

Took it home, stripped and cleaned it, reassembled it, took it back the range, same thing happned. Wouldn't dry fire, wouldn't fire a round when chambered.

I'm taking it in to a gunsmith tommorrow, but I can't think of anything other than the internal lock has been enaged into safe (even in the F position) , unless the trigger mechanism itself has broken. Total number of rounds through it to date was under 1000.
