Best Ammo for Uberti revolver and Winchester rifle same calaber

I’m not a competition shooter, unfortunately, but I’m hoping I can get some advice in this group.

I have a .357mag/.38sp Uberti Cattleman El Patron (competition) revolver. I’m getting a Winchester 1873 Deluxe Sporting rifle in the same caliber.
Any recommendations on the best ammo brands, grain, round/flat nose, etc... that I can use in both?

Using mostly for target, maybe hunting with the rifle, and the occasional varmint while riding my horse.

Flatpoint.

I like 125gn bullets in the 38/357. But some prefer something around the 160gn range.
