IMO you will find no better scale in it's price range. ($99 from Midway)

If you must have that kind of resolution, look into Denver scales. I use TR-104 for powder weighing and TL-602 for bullet sorting.

TR-104 has .001 grain resolution, which is far too fine for reloading.
After many chrono sessions, I could never correlate better than a tenth-grain powder consistency to an improved SD or any other reload consistency measurement.

Summary: don't bother. Any good digital scale is adequate for reloading. I recommend PACT or Dillon's.

I have a pact BBK, they are 80 something bucks at midwayusa. It won't read to a hundreth of a grain like you requerments state but it is accurate enough for handloading everyday ammo.

Another vote for denver instruments. Keep in mind that for reloading, anything more than 0.1 grain is probably useless. Also, those lab grade scales have to be leveled, calibrated and kept in relatively stable temperature and humidity to be truly accurate.

You'll drive yourself batty trying to load to .01gr. I've also got a PACT BBK and it gets the job done.

(If +/- 0.1grains affects functioning, accuracy or velocity, you should really be looking for a different load.)

Of course most of the answers you've received so far are assuming you're looking for a scale for reloading purposes. If you need that kind of accuracy for something else, I'm afraid I can't help you.

Go to Midsouth shooters supply and get the Smart Reloader scale for 24.99. Ounces grams grains and carats. Been using mine for a year now, very accurate.
