Best Gun Blogs and Discussions

The YouTube thread got me thinking...what about gun-related blogs and discussion boards? I mean...I like THR, but are there other discussion boards you enjoy (especially related to tactics)?

As far as blogs, I really like www.activeresponsetraining.net I’ve trained with Greg several times, and he knows his stuff! His Weekend Knowledge Dump is a great compilation of interesting articles on a wide range of shooting-related topics. When he weighs in with an opinion, it’s worth listening to!

I tell you one place not to go to is Facebook. I belong to a handful of gun groups on Facebook and find the quality of discussion topics to be severely lacking. Just about to dump them since there is never anything useful posted.

There are a ton of gun forums around, but the only one I'm going to link for you is thefiringline.com That site has a history with thehighroad and (at least they used to) have several common moderators that volunteer on both sites.

Thefirearmblog is a great site for new gun reviews and news. Not the most in depth content but I learn about a lot of new stuff from them.

The Brian Enos forums for competitive practical/action shooting: https://forums.brianenos.com/ . And the Practical Shooting Training Group, but that's a paywall/subscription site.

Accurateshooter (https://www.accurateshooter.com/ ) is a great site that has a nice bulletin (daily-ish blog) and some fantastic articles about high-precision shooting.

None of these have the breadth of THR, but in their areas they go very deep.
