I have a Benelli M1 super 90 I use for home defense. Ive been trying to find good light mounts but have no luck. Sense benelli has discontinued the M1 most the stuff i find has been out of production for awhile. The only thing I've found are the small rail segments that attach to the front of the tube but having tried those on other guns im worried about it falling off under recoil. Is there something I havent found yet? Is it worth maybe upgrading to an M2?

Well I have a Rem 11-87 with a Surefire light that I have full confidence in but I'm keeping my Benelli as is so it doesn't feel as "nose heavy".
Mine is the M3 Super 90.

I'm looking for a chopped down Shockwave type version of the semi-auto Rem to put a Surefire combo laser and light to move into the HD niche (easier to go through doors) and the long version with just a light gets relegated to a camp defense weapon.

This morning I shot an Elephant in my pajamas.
How he got into my pajamas I'll never know.

Won't happen. I have used some of the cheapest flashlight mounts available, some as low as $12, to put lights on 870s, 500, 88. All held on during recoil. Just make sure you get a mount with at least 2 cross bolts. 1 bolt won't hold on tightly enough.
