Where are the best places to buy guns?

Best place to sell?

I have my cz-82 and its a bit too small in my hands I'd like something like a yugo m57 or something around that size seeing as the holidays are coming up id like to find something relatively cheap around $200 - 240 selling my cz will definitely help push me closer to the $300 range

Gun shows are a good place to sell, and may or may not be a good place to buy (do your homework first). Armslist and gunbroker can have pretty good buying prices on common guns also, but then you need to figure shipping and transfer costs.

anywhere that will someone is willing to pay what you are asking.
here
surplusrifle
gunboards

and a few other online places
realize that a 82 is going for 165 from the distributors

Consider posting a Would Like To Trade add (wtt)

thank you guys, where do you guys buy your guns? I'd support my lgs if they didn't jack prices to unreasonable levels tho i do use their range when i can.

gun broker, and google the snot out of whatever gun I'm thinking about buying... see who has it for how much... the more research you do, the better deal you'll get or confirm the best deal you can get...

Im thinkin about just a plain old m91/30 i found it on wideners for 89/99 not entirely sure as to why it has 2 prices. aim surplus has them at 79.99 but ive never ordered from them before. Is it better to stick with people uve dealt with and know they have nice products or go for another because its a lil cheaper?

Not sure if FL has one, but some states have sights like VAguntrader (care to guess where it's for), NCVAguntrader (woo hoo, two states). Enthusiest boards work, guntrader, gunbroker, armslist, they all work.

Buy/sell locations...

Sobel--You said

Remember, they have a bricks-and-mortar store to maintain, and they have real live help who can talk FTF with you, they have to pay. Plus, no shipping expenses like when you order a gun.

As to where I buy/sell guns: Gunbroker, local gun show, LGS, FTF transaction at the gun club--They all can work.

Second the motion to DO YOUR HOMEWORK re the firearm you are buying or selling. The more you know the better you can do in any mileu.

your right , but this is 200-300 price mark ups when they give u a deal they drop it $50 i know they have a business but with all that extra money i could order the same thing + ammo and cleaning kit and probably some range time. All their help seems to be buy this $800 ar-15 and the ak platform sucks and is harder to clean than the ar. I just think they maybe a bit more for the money than actually helping people.

Here, the local radio station has an hour of "hot line" where you can call in and offer anything from old washing machines to AR15's. I'm sure other locales must have something like that.

Assuming you're not an FFL guy and you live in a private transfer state, then a gun show is a great place to do business. There's also a bit of a mad idea on THR that a gun buyback in a private transfer state might be a good idea for purchasing guns. All you'd have to do is just match whatever the buyback's offering is and then push the envelope a bit.
