Less we forget.

This country was founded by men and women who not only had the revolutionary idea of a country guided by the citizens, but were willing to take up arms to bring it about. They were not only the signers of the document, they were the farmers, sawers, millers, and many others who took up "The Cause". They are the ones who fought a vastly superior British Army to a standstill. They fought and died relitivly unknown, for they carried thier muskets in the ranks.
Let us remember them as the heroes that they were, unknown but to thier families and to God. Altho we do not know them as individuals, we honor them for thier call to a duty few of us will understand.

They were, and are the American Solder, Sailor, and Marine.
GOD BLESS THEM.

I'm reminded that some of these fighters weren't even "Americans", but French & Polish allies, and who knows from where ever else they came. ;)

I saluted all the armed forces in our parade today, and even thanked one personally for all SHE had given up to help keep us free. She didn't get to see her little boy for over a year, while she was in Iraq. I make it a point to thank our vets and will do it till I die.

I wasn't able to go and fight, so I worked in an industry that helped our troops fight and stay alive by having great equipment with which to fight.

To all the vets out there I thank you for your sacrifice to maintain our freedom.
