Chances are, if your like me you need all the help hitting that bulls-eye. In the past there has been many forms of helping you to stabilize that shot for accuracy. Let’s make it simple and easy to do so. What a difference a n adjustable front shooting rest can make. There are several different ones out in the market place. Maybe you have used a rolled up blanket, jacket, or sandbags. Seriously though, go buy a professionally made front shooting rest. Its adjustable! It doesn’t even have to be a complex one. If you really want to spend the money get a bench rest, but if you’re on a budget like me, a simple adjustable front shooting rest can make a world of difference.

Some points to look for when purchasing a front shooting rest. At a minimum, make sure you can adjust the height and lock it firmly. Have the resting cradle padded. Finally, ensure that the unit has weight to it and is stable. You will need something that’s not jumping after every trigger squeeze.

Sure there are little tricks to adjust your shot here and there but consistency is what we are about. Being able to adjust the way your rifle is positioned without changing your grip or stance in any way is the best way to deliver those result. Any changes made are done to the rest and not you as the shooter or your firearm. Now your thinking I have a great bi-pod. Its adjustable. Not the same thing unfortunately. A bi-pod is a step in the right direction but it will not deliver fine tuning adjustment
