Interviewer: "Gun owners out there say you are coming after my guns"

Biden: "Bingo! You're right if you have an assault weapon. They should be illegal, Period!"

He then goes on to discuss that already purchased weapons would be grandfathered.

Hes pimping for delegates in the primary. Wont change one vote in his favor in the general.

Agreed. Also, we should all be realistic. If it isn't Trump, it is very likely to be Biden in the Oval Office next. Biden isn't my first choice by a long shot but he is far more centrist than the rest of the candidates, much less The Squad. Start flooding him with emails now and let him know where we stand.

Also, he can't do squat without the Senate. Remember that next November.

O'Rourke's and Buttigieg's AWB plans would also grandfather existing weapons, while Harris would only outlaw imports. Warren would exempt collectors.

Anything with grandfathering is essentially toothless, given the huge number of such weapons already in private hands. The only presidential candidate advocating confiscation was Swalwell, and he's already withdrawn from the race.

They all WANT confiscation. Taqqiya is immaterial.

Grandfathering in the short term is likely. But grandfathering combined with registration will lead to the grandfathered being targeted down the road because so many firearms are in circulation that allowing them to stay in circulation will not curbed how readily someone that is motivated to acquire them can obtain them.

I see them wanting to know where most of the guns are they want to go after before they have the confidence to actually try and go after them.
Computers and databases were new in the early 90s. Today things are very different.
Once they know the location they can increasingly add new requirements to comply, and send the SWAT team to deal with those that stumble.
The balance intended by the founders having everyone well armed and deterring everyone else from becoming corrupted by power and abusing others is coming to an end.
While at the same time the culture that coexisted with our rights and made such a unique thing work for so long is being erased and erroded, and our nation being given to any invaders that choose to come at such a rapid rate that a new culture is replacing the old one.
Our government and how it is organized is not what was unique, Mexico has similar rights in its Constitution, and Liberia was almost a direct copy of the United States government.

Well, we know who WON'T be the next President ....... (I hope :uhoh: )

Well, we hope but I wouldn’t be so quick to make that statement. If the technocrats get their way, it’s entirely possible someone like Biden could get in. Watch this:

Many of us has known this has been going on. You’d be naive to think otherwise but now Robert Epstein has put this out in the open and it’s perfectly possible, even legal for them to swing large votes for whatever candidate that they prefer. Make no mistake, the losers of the last election will pull out all stops to make sure their gun grabbing person gets into office this go around.

This is America and things can change fast. I'd like to see an agreement of how the interest of ordinary firearm owners would be protected. Everybody appears to be focused on guns being taken away. I'm for taking a proactive course on how the ordinary gun owners can be protected. Hold their feet in the fire. Let's get some specific answers. That is, with no BS. This pot on the mass shootings has been boiling for a time. Here we are. Are we going to preach too the choir or take some action?

It doesn’t matter what they tell you, they will simply lie and change their minds once whatever they want passes. Their ultimate goal is confiscation, period. That’s why we are focused on them taking guns.

What is even more alarming to me is that today I’ve had a discussion with 3 officers that i know, all big gun guys. However, they tell me that they are not concerned with any of this because officers in any of these bans are exempt, according to them. Based on a quick search of some states it would seem that they are correct unless I misinterpreted what I read. The mag bans and whatnot that have passed do not apply to LE, current or retired. I find that quite alarming. My response to them was, the way I see it, if the populace is disarmed then there is no need for the police to have arms either. They just chuckled. I told them I was dead serious. If nobody else is armed then what in the world are they afraid of? Anyone else find that disturbing? I’m sorry if I dont trust the parties that just attempted a coup to have my best interest in mind. I don’t want to end up like the Jews in 1940’s Germany.

There would be massive noncompliance with registration. Only a small percentage of AR's would be registered, and those would be for the purpose of having something "official" to take to the range. Gun owners are not stupid. But then neither are the antigunners, who would be aware of this.

A more pernicious tactic by the antigunners would be to bring all semiautomatics under the NFA, with transferability plus a Hughes-like moratorium on further production. Owners would be tempted to register in order to take advantage of the huge run-up in value.

Carrot and stick approach.

Oh, I've heard. I don't know what to say about it ... except it scares me in ways that the moderators would punish me with a TIME OUT if I stated it on this website.:what:

  1. Neither the rights of gun owners nor the Constitution in general are of the slightest concern to the proponents. Remember, one of them is an advocate of the use of FORGED CONFESSIONS in felony trials.
  2. It's ALL BS. They ALL want bans and confiscations. They're just employing taqqiya to deny it.
