I'm tired of going to the range and constantly swapping reading glasses with safety glasses

Web search reveals several brands of bifocal shooting glasses and I'm not sure what brand or style is best. They come in clear, yellow and shaded. Magnification 1.5 to 3.0 - I figure the same rating as on a pair of reading glasses you get from a drugstore...

Does anyone use bifocal glasses and can tell me what they like about their brand? :what:

I have ANSI bifocal safety glasses but I have the same problem because I have 2 prescriptions high and low.

My problem is that all the handy inexpensive ones have the "wrong" magnification on the bottom and I'd rather have a top diopter that fits for arms length and a bottom at reading length.

If you only wear reading glasses (you don't have other issues), the answer is pretty simple. Just order a pair of tinted readers in a strength lower than you'd normally buy.

I need readers of about +2.00, but if I use +1.00 I can see both my sights and the target clearly enough to shoot respectably. I get my tinted shooting glasses from 39dollarglasses.com which, as the site name indicates cost $39. Once you're a customer, you regularly get email specials for $15 off, so you can get extras for $24 a pair every couple of months.

different strengths in each lens

This may sound off, but I got a pair with my reading lens in the right eye and my distance lens in the left. Works fine for me--no craning my neck. Using both eyes at once is no problem (I sometimes absent mindedly leave them on."
