Personally, I’d go with a Swift 200gr A-Frame if using the .300winmag in Alaska. The Swifts are constructed with a smaller frontal section for less expansion diameter and loss of weight. Better penetration.
My Savage M110 in .300Rum shoots them under an inch at 100yds. I scored some Remington factory loads on Clearence for $12/20!
