When I was first getting excited about black powder revolvers, my work buddy told me a story from his grandfather who buried his ranch hand out in the desert along with his trusty black powder Colt. I liked the story so much I turned it into a song.

Maybe some of you guys will like it!

PS Even though the link is to bandcamp, you can listen to the song as many times as you like for free, so don't take this as an attempt to sell anything... just enjoy!

(Going to rain all weekend here in AZ, so no shooting.) :(

And floods! Though it looks nice today! Don't think I want to risk the washed out dirt roads to my shootin' area! (Reddington Pass for locals!)

Spent one Christmas week in Superior Arizona in 1961. Desert country but we went up into some mountains to cut a Christmas tree. I was 19 years old and on my way to a duty station elsewhere.. Nice country sadly I never returned. Had hand made tamales for Christmas dinner.
