Greetings Gents.

Can anybody reccomend a decent range near Blackhawk / Idaho Springs / Denver where a few Aussies and Kiwis could rent some guns for a not exorbitant fee?
Semi and full auto plus pistols?

Conversely, would anybody, from the goodness of their heart, be willing to share thier firearms?

The guys are happy to supply ammo (and beers afterwards) They just don't want to pay $600usd each for 3x 30rnd mags

Two of my workmates are currently visiting the US from Australia with a couple of their mates. They've got a couple of spare days up thier sleeves next week and would like to go shooting.
My workmates are experienced shooters but would like to experience auto and semi auto.

I live in the Denver metro, and there are several ranges around here that will rent pistols and rimfire rifles. I've not rented full auto but rentals exist (see next paragraph). Centennial Gun Club has a large number of rental firearms, including full auto, and a nice range, but its a bit expensive for my taste (pay by the hour). If I were just wanting to shoot and on vacation/out of town, the money may be worth it. I also like shooting at the Shootist in Englewood (pay by the day), but they have a much smaller selection of pistols to rent.

Machine Gun Tours is in Lakewood, Colorado and they do full auto rentals. I have never used them, but they are advertising online cheaper than the 600 dollars you are quoting in your posting. https://www.machineguntours.com/

DragonMan is near Colorado Springs (1-1.5 hours from the Denver metro) and has full auto and semi auto rentals. I've never rented from them either. I have shot there once and it was enjoyable. https://www.dragonmans.com/content/shooting_range His range has....character.

If you do go to Machine Gun Tours, and want to see a gun shop with a lot of inventory to see, swing by the Gun Room in Lakewood. It's just down the street a mile or two.
