Wait; are you forgetting this?
LLAMA IS THE PRIDE OF SPAIN WHERE THEY SURE KNOW HOW TO MAKE PISTOLS._ THEY ARE ALSO FAMOUS FOR THE STAR PISTOLS!
They sure do! and they are! Typo: forgot the "IN" in the word after "also." (just funnin' ya, The Kidd)
Unfortunately, I find that the juxtaposition of the ventilated rib against the nostalgic "I sure did love my old cap gun" appearance tends to add an incongruous, even jarring note to the overall aesthetic perfection of the piece. Note, however, that the rear sight juts upward like bull horns, adding a clever touch of historic insouciance and reminding the viewer of the Spanish influence on the development of the New World where the 1911 pistol was born. Furthermore, the particular use of the well-known "Great-Granddad engraved his cowboy pistol hisself with a nail in the bunkhouse in the evenings" carving style will make this a favorite for all of those who grew up marveling at the tarted-up ancestors of this genuine "LLAMA" pistol on the covers and in the pages of the
Shooter's Bible.
Why do they put the word "LLAMA" in quotes,
right on the pistol itself? What's it
really called? {yeah, that could be my worst play on words yet, but no hablo Espa—(where's that n with the twirly thing?)—nol}
Seriously, though; why the quotation marks carved in?
and is that a big gap above the trigger?
Drakejake, two words: Barbecue. Texas.
