I finally saved up my pennies and have enough to buy a duck butt grip safety (plus jig) for my Norinco but not enough for a new hammer. I was wondering if bobbing a USGI style hammer spur enough to work with a duck butt grip safety, will the hammer have enough mass to get the job done with hard primer ammo, without replacing springs through out(has a 23lb main 16 lb recoil)? Not a lot of bobbing but enough to get away (+ some for safety) with using a duck butt.

This gun is for range use only.

Thanks for your time

Should work just fine. If not a slightly heavier spring should do the trick.
