Following the psychopathic rampage by the wife-beating Hmong man, here is what Neal Boortz had to say on his Nealz Nuze page:

Hunters. Gotta love 'em. There's nothing quite like waking up on a beautiful fall morning in the middle of the forest, having a nice breakfast and a cup of joe, and then heading out into the woods to look for something to kill. Hey, if you can't find any deer, how about some other hunters? You know, if these guys were as tough as we want them to believe they are, they would enlist and go to Iraq. There they would have something to hunt that actually deserves to die.

He deleted that part when he archived the news, but I saw it on his page with my own eyes. If I had suspected he would pull a Rather and delete it, I would have taken a screen shot. Instead, I just emailed him to share with him my opinions on his ignorant stereotype.

I hope many of you will do the same.

I've tried listening to him. I'd call him an idiot but that would be an insult to idiots. And he has two redundant letters at the end of his name. Got no use for Neil Boor.

He's an entertaining cuss. I think he comes up with some of this stuff for shock value. He's wrong about 1/2 the time, imho. But he's right on the important stuff.

Boortz is not a big fan of hunting . . . big deal. He is still a huge supporter of the second ammendment (actually owns an AK). He has also said the best preparation for a terrorist attack is to own and know how to use guns if the situation calls for it.

You should probably spend your time fighting people who want to infringe on your rights as opposed to fighting someone who doesn't agree with what you're doing, but will protect your right to do so. Send two letters to someone on the other side, it will be time better spent.

Well, he just had Ted Nugget on & they discussed hunting. Boortz really is a great guy...I miss his program on the radio (moved to late night here in Austin) but get to listen to him on the 'net when I'm working in the shop.

BTW...it was indeed Nugent, but his girl Friday had it wrong on his screen.

:D

Whoever wrote that is extremely ignorant and narrow minded IMO. Even as a non-hunter I understand that hunting is a legitimate pursuit. The author is especially hypocritical if he/she eats meat.......that somebody else has killed and processed for them.

I guaranty you he did that as a rebuttal to response he received regarding his ignorant statements.

Boortz is sort of a "shock jock" for square people. If he didn't make controversial statements people wouldn't call in to castigate him, sponsors would stop advertising, etc. It's entertainment, people!

I don't listen to his show, but am a long time reader of Nealz Nuze. Glad to see he had Ted Nugent on to talk about this today. I hope he learned a thing or two.

You could very well be right there...I didn't catch the reason for the interview, but Nugent was GREAT!!

:D

Old Neal just never got it together. He remains associated with intellectual mediocrity. Neal never met a conspiracy theory he could not embrace, and embellish.
All this comes out when he makes moronic statements like those about hunting.

Considering his open mind about hunters....I figured his guest might really have been Ted Nugget....and not Nugent. :p
Sounds like a good radio team.. Lugnut and Nugget.

Maybe Nugent's people are trying to create a running joke here. Ted appeared on "That 70s Show" and one of the characters had T-shirts printed up that said Tad Nugent.

Does owning an AK qualify you as a huge supporter of the second RKBA? Last time I checked, that gun came from a country that didn't care too much for any of our amendments :neener:

I really don't know what all he owns. He has said he shoots regularly, and has mentioned owning an AK on his program. I don't know too many people who just own an AK though.

But to answer your question, yes he is a supporter of the 2nd ammendment. When it comes to issues like this he believes in "shall not be infringed." He spent the two weeks before the AW expiration talking about how dumb the law was and explaining how it was usless. He is also staunchly against any gun control laws and usually says so on his program. He does so far more than Hannity or Limbaugh.
