Bore Cleaners and copper removers

I am currently using Hoppes Copper remover as my bore cleaner. I want better. I am now looking at Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner. It looks promising. I, however, am a cheapskate. What other products should I look into and does anyone know where I could get free samples?

You may be a cheapskate, but I would still recommend MPro7. It's expensive, but it doesn't take much and it won't eat brass brushes. I only use it if I've shot the gun; otherwise I just use CLP. Do an Internet search for MPro7-- they have a website. I don't know for sure, but they may be persuaded to send you a sample.

With MPro 7 do you recommend the jell or the spray?

MPro is great on lead and powder, but, not much on copper. If all you shoot is lead it is really good. Otherwise hang on to your copper solvents.

I've been using Break-Free's new Bore Cleaning Foam for the past few months now with good success(judging by the blue-stained patches that come out of my barrels). It's convenient to use(squirt the foam into the chamber until you see it come out of the muzzle, wait 15 minutes, patch out), doesn't stink like ammoniated copper solvents, and supposedly won't harm your bore if you neglect to wipe it out quickly enough. It's a little pricey(around $10-12 a can), but it seems to go a long way. Like any other copper solvent, though, you should use a regular bore cleaner to remove the carbon fouling first.

I use a product called KLEENS it is a combustion chamber cleaner that you can buy at your local GM dealer in a aersol can, I learned about it from some friends that use it for cleaning their precision rifles, I have used it with very good results. It removes copper and lead residue.
