Went to a gun show this weekend and picked up a 5 year old Marlin Model 60 in very very good shape with a Simmons 3-9x 32mm for $130

Saturday afternoon, picked up a cheap blazer brick and shot 200 rounds, it worked perfectly with 2 duds.

Sunday morning shot another 100 rounds with 1 dud.

Really impressed with the accuracy, 5-8 round groups easily within a 2-3 inch circle at 50 yards.

At 35 yards we were knocking, dimes, nickels and pennys hammered into a sawhorse on the first shot

Congratulations on the 60. They are great rifles. I have tuned mine up and am getting 2" to 2 1/2" at 100 yards off a front bag. There are alot of small tricks to help increae the accuracy that don't cost a thing.

Im pretty sure I was the limiting factor at 50 yards, I am way out of practice lol!

Look in the Marlin section at Rimfire Central. You will find more than you everwanted to know about the model 60, very helpful information.
