Went to the Indy gunshow this weekend looking for something like a Model 60 or 65 Lady Smith 
or something like a 3" or 4" 19 or 28 but after looking over the entire show, ended up getting a SIG 229. Someone had polished the slide and it was pretty dirty but I got the gun with three factory 10 round mags for $390. Sold the factory mags for $25 each and traded a Boker knife I got for $23 on eBay and $10 for a factory 12 round mag.
$348 for a 229 with a full cap magazine! I was happy.
I was also looking for a used G29 and there was not one to be found... at least not on Saturday... But at someone at the show said, most folks that buy a subcompact 10mm pistol want a subcompact 10mm pistol. Also, when I asked a guy at one of the larger tables about any G29s, he told me to get with the 21st century and get a G33. I told him I didn't want a 9mm. He looked at me like I had just slapped him!
