Bought my first Glock today

Traded an M&P 9 subcompact for a new G30SF with night sights at LGS. I really like the caliber, size, and capacity of the Glock. I will keep the gun in my truck 100% of the time. I mounted a DeSantis Kingston Car Seat holster to the inside of my center console with velcro and the gun hangs perfectly in the holster just as if on my belt. Slide the expandable console forward and the gun is there and readily available. I Will take her to the range tomorrow evening and put a couple of hundred down range to break her in.

What about the Glock do you like that the M&Pc did not deliver?

My reason for Trading

Actually, I never liked the feel of the M&P 9in my hand and did not like the trigger. The gun performed flawlessly and I am not bad-mouthing S&W it's just that I was never comfortble shooting the M&P 9. So, I decided to give Glock a try and my caliber of choice for personal protection is the 45 ACP. I have other S&W products, but now only revolvers and a 5.56mm M&P15X. I have only bought or traded for two guns over the years that I did not like the aforementioned M&P and a CZ2075 Rami. Strictly personal preference.

Congrats, I have a Glock 30SF myself. I carry mine IWB and it's the softest shooting .45 cal. pistol I've ever owned.
