OK. Enough is enough.

I am tired of Hollywood "heroes" that make their millions blasting away with firearms of all kinds while, in real life, they believe we should all be disarmed. The only way I can think of to deliver this message is to hit them in their wallets. If they want our money on Hollywood Blvd, then they need to stop backing gun grabs on Main Street.

I am calling for a public boycott of any movie in which any actor who is publicly on the record as backing the infringement of our Second Amendment rights stars as a gun-totin' tough guy, beginning with Sly Stallone's movie, Bullet to the Head. Stallone is publicly on the record that authorities need to go door to door to confiscate firearms (even though he applied for and received a CPL in 2004, scans of his application are posted on line: The Hypocrisy of Sylvester Stallone).

Also adding the recent Schwarzenegger movie, The Last Stand.

If you folks see other such movies, add them to this thread along with the name of the actors.

We keep saying that we need to VOTE our beliefs. It's time to STOP SPENDING in line with those beliefs as well. If they don't support the Second Amendment, they shouldn't receive any support from us, either.

Better plan on watching basically no movies then. Gun control is not an issue for stars. They all have walls, cameras, bodyguards, and opinions influenced by California political propoganda.

For stars, this is just a way to get free advertising and look like they want to help.

Your criteria is a bit broad. We can't even agree IN HERE where all of the lines should be drawn.

Having said that, yes Stallone is solidly anti and hypocritical, but it's been a LONG time since he has made any film I felt like seeing in the first place. Like, more than 20 years.

While there are certain actors whose movies I will not watch (mainly 'cause I can stand lookin' at 'em), I find my time better spent writing to my elected reps and pestering them with phone calls in which I ask a lot of difficult, if not pointed, questions.

Gets the point to those in control vs. the multi-millionaire nitwits like Stallone, King, and all the others who really have little effect on the debate anyway.

If there is a movie

I gotta see, but stars an anti-2nd wipe, then we will buy a ticket to another (usually family friendly movie) and go into the other movie instead.

Stealing from hollyweird? Yep

Not stealing from the theatre.

We are in a war.

I gave up

I gave up on Hollywood years ago. Haven't seen a movie in years. I also pulled out my cable TV- I just get the stuff over the airwaves on the digital antenna. I don't miss any of it and my kids don't get exposed to a bunch of garbage. I do still use the internet of course and read books, both hard cover and kindle. At least it puts you in control of what you're seeing instead of the other way around.

It is not for everyone, but for me it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
