Good information and good approach.

It is important to explain to the companies that they no longer get your business because of their decision. Just suspending doing business with them isn't enough.

It is important that people call them and tell them why. Businesses and corporations get calls from people complaining and bitching about all kinds of things every day. When they start getting alot of calls from people who are saying "good bye" and why - and do it - in significant numberes, they are all eyes and ears. They start thinking about real consequences. When shareholders start seeing a trend of rapidly falling dividends, they start hollering, and thinking of moving their money elsewhere.

Would you call just the branch you would have used? Or a corporate line? I may need to rent a car but won’t do business with companies “who take the other side”.

Folks that have cards, etc with companies that have thrown the NRA under the bus should be made aware that NRA members
can have an equal effect on their bottom line.
This is not a one way street!
