Police detained Frank Oesterle after he stabbed American John Flynn with a Swiss knife

A pocket knife?

The last thing he remembered was he was down on the floor with Flynn sitting on top of him.

Thats prolly because Flynn knocked his dumb *** out cold.

I saw a TV report on the incident just now.

Flynn indicated that he sat on top of Oesterly, mentioning that he'll let go the pinned man if the German stopped fighting. Flynn thought the Oesterly was merely punching his left butt, when actually he was already being stabbed four/five times..

in the butt, of course...

And it was not a Swiss knife, more like a tactical 4-inch folder.

Ouch...
