Having trouble with a new Remington SPS, bolt action in .243 Win.

Trying to build up some deer loads, and most of the rounds chamber very tight, and when ejected (un fired) have a bright ring on the headstamp where some brass has been rubbed off on the face of the bolt. These have been full length re-sized and trimmed to length. Bullets are seated ~.010 from rifling lands.

All of the dimensions measure w/i tolerances. I am using new W/W brass and wonder if the rim is a bit too thick. Plan to change brands of brass and see if that helps.

Any thoughts / suggestions are appreciated.

How did you set up your sizing die? It sounds like you need to adjust it downward to push the shoulder back more. Most instructions say to screw in the die until it touches the shell holder, but that's just a general starting point and may not be enough for some rifles.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Matt-man, you hit it on the head. A simple adjustment to the sizing die made things just peachy. Rounds chamber as smooth as silk. Thanks to all for your suggestions.
