How would chrome slide release, hammer, trigger, safety and novak tritium sites look on a Browning Hi-Power mark 3? From Cylinder and Slide

I'm generally not a huge fan of contrasting color parts like that. Also not a huge fan of the C&S safeties from what I've seen. Unfortunately I don't think there are many good aftermarket safeties for the BHP. The best I've seen are gunsmith modified factory safeties.

I do like Novak sights however and find them to look great on BHPs. There are about three rear Novak sights out there for BHP so do your homework and talk to C&S about the options.

I've got one BHP with Novaks and a modified OEM MkIII ambi safety that was added to and converted to single side. If interested I can post photos.

Hope that helps.

I can envision what you propose to change on a Browning Hi Power, winding up with an image of what Tuarus has done on some of its firearms, with the gilded trim parts.

You wish to put chrome pieces on a firearm that is ccw-worthy? I dunno.

I admit it is 'bad enough' that there exists BHP's with factory MILPAT camo cerakoting. I own one. But chrome??? I dunno.

$400 worth of shiny trinkets on an $700 Hi Power do not equal $1100.

As noted above, in nearly every case you devalue the firearm.

If you want bling, buy a Pimptastic Taurus.

Ok was just wondering. I do think the novak tritium is still a good idea since this is my nightstand gun. I wanna get rid of the mag disconnect also.

It is your pistol - you can do whatever you want, in spite of our comments on this thread, as long as you realize it would be difficult to recoup your investment if you later want to sell it.

But since you asked, I myself would go with just the Novak sights and spend the rest of the 'bling' money on a mil-surp or FEG Hi Power to shoot for fun.

I wanna get rid of the mag disconnect also.

You can do that yourself.. Lots of YouTube vids on it.

C&S combat trigger is definitely worth it IMO if your MKIII has the older thinner version. Not sure about chrome thou and that's coming from someone with a Practical (2 tone)
