Do you see this “upload a file” button on your device? Click that and select photo library, then select the photos of your Hi Power and that’s all there is to it

Somebody you rely on I presume?

He’s very knowledgeable on Hi Powers.

I’m at a loss as to yours. The serial number doesn’t match the range in Browning’s published info for a T series.

My wild guess is it’s a late model T Series made in the early 70’s

Show us a pic or 2 of the pistol assembled if you don’t mind

I hope these pics help id my t-series. When my search first started there was a member that had a list of the inspector stamps and when they were working. Maybe you can find it. I can't. I know this pistol was built during the switch to c-series while still wrapping up production of t-series beyond Browning lists. I figure it's a '70 or '71 model.
Thanks for the help,Dave

T287654 is a late model T series. At this point in time FN is not using inspector marks on pistols. I have seen a T series with a T378237 serial number. I believe that one was made in 1972. Some claim the T series was made until 1973.

On this pic there might be a 5 in a box or partial box. That is date code for the barrel. That would narrow it down a little bit. Take a clear pic of that and I can tell you more.

My WAG is this is a 1970-1971 BHP made at the same time as the C series. C series started in 1969. The dates and numbers for T series get wonky here because they are not sequential FN is using old new stock to build pistols.

The grips are aftermarket as I am sure you know. Are they marked on the back of the grips panels in any way?

Finally got some barrel photos. It appears the diamond has a G in it. There's also a double stamp of LP. The other side is just stamped P. Thanks for your help. I appreciate your knowledge, Dave Wright[ATTAC 20220513_060208.jpg 20220513_060010_Burst01.jpg 20220513_055947.jpg 20220513_055930_Burst01.jpg 20220513_060254.jpg 20220513_060208.jpg 20220513_060153_Burst01.jpg 20220513_060010_Burst01.jpg 20220513_055947.jpg 20220513_055930_Burst01.jpg H=full]1078254[/ATTACH] 20220513_060254.jpg
Yours is in much better condition. Mine belonged to a retired new york cop.

That is a 0 inside a diamond. This tells me it is a 1970 1st Qtr Barrel. So that tells you it cannot be older than 1970. I believe we are looking at 1970-1971 but it could be as late as 1972. Look on the pistol and look for other date codes. They will be numbers inside partial diamonds like the 0. Look at the bottom of the magwell. The underside of the slide. Often you can find 3-4 date codes and figure out a date range from there.

Thanks so much for your help. One of the very first sets of photos has a pic of magwell bottom showing what appeats to be the letters IN. 20220502_095439.jpg 20220502_095439.jpg 20220502_095439.jpg
