Recently I inherited 2 Browning High Power 9mm Handguns. I have tried researching the serial numbers on several sites, including Browning. No one lists either number, and I am looking for help.
1) Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre
Herstal Belgique
Serial #63763
Blued, fixed front sight, adjustable rear w/ 50-500 yard(meter?) marks

2) Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo. and Montreal
Made in Belgium
Serial #T295196 (exceeds Browning's web site info for T#)
Blued, fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight

Does anyone have an idea on the value of these guns?
Any help is appreciated!

Good pics, including markings/features, are essential for proper ID as well as approximate value (condition can be extremely important) of your pistols. BHP serial numbers (some are actually assigned "Contract" numbers) do not run in sequence near as well as serial numbers do with other manufactures...and FN has been producing the pistols for 77+ years.

With the limited info you provided, there's a possibility the Tangent (0-500m) 63763 pistol is wartime production, if so it was likely produced by FN under German occupation in March/April 1941. Look for German proofs/Waffenamts; small German Eagle/WaA163 stamps.

The much newer T295196 was likely produced late 1969, but most likely would not have been factory fitted with any kind of adjustable sight. Such a "T" would most likely have the serial number on the frame only (unlike the Tangent) and would likely have a "Pineapple" stamp on the right front of the trigger guard.

FN was/is famous for doing whatever FN wanted/wants in producing their pistols ;).

Hope that helps a bit :D

Bingo! You nailed both.
The older one actually has one eagle stamp on the barrel and it looks like three more on the frame and trigger gaurd. This one is in very good condition with some minor normal holster wear on the bluing. Apparently made during the Nazi occupation as you thought. I believe this one will be fairly rare I think given the short time of occupation.

The newer one is pristine and definetely has the pineapple stamp as you describe.
Thank you for your expertise. Any idea on the values for my own knowledge?
These belonged to my father and will stay in the family.
