Went by the west side wally today and, after getting the cat litter :)o), I stopped in the small outdoors section to check out what's there. Lo and behold, the Buck 110s are marked down to 27.97. Buck seems to have rounded the bolsters since the last one I owned and the nylon sheath isn't as cool as the old leather ones were but heck, it's still a Buck and it's a classic.
Been a long time since I had one of these on my belt. Feels kinda good... :)

Some still come with a leather sheath. The 50th anniversary one I picked up at Fleet Farm did anyway.

Check the case at Wallys carefully...there might be a left over 50th anniversary 110 back in there.
I slpurged and bought a 110 Lochsa with G10 scales and pocket clip and S30V steel. It is a really cool knife and a true Buck, and is in my pocket most days.

That's a good deal on 110's.

As far as the nylon sheaths go- after using the nylon for several years, I prefer it to the leather.

I think I paid a little more then that when I bought my first 110 back in the early 70s. Lost in Alaska during BrimFrost 83. Maybe it's time to replace it.

I'm thinking that it was $29.99 about 73. Considering how much less the dollar is worth now $27.97 is a heck of a deal.
