Looks like www.bullpupunlimited.com is finally selling their remington 870 bullpup kit thats been in development for years. Not sure if I want to configure my HD 870 with one of these kits yet, but I'll definitely be interested in hearing some reviews.

That looks awesome, I want one. What is the cost?

Cost is $359.

I think I will pick one up in a few months if still available.

The only thing that struck me was based on how it fits together I am not sure how well those rails would hold zero.
Although it probably holds well enough at shotgun ranges with everything screwed together.
It also means you probably have to put something on the rail to be able to aim it well since the polymer on top appears to partially hide the bead from the typical angle. Otherwise you are just aiming down the rail and pointing, fine at indoor ranges but harder to make useful at distance. That adds to the cost of making it useful beyond just very close range.

I just hope they used durable quality dense polymer and not some of the cheap crap some companies use for aftermarket conversions.

Glad to see this option and I hope they do well.

The video instructions on how to assemble it give the best view of what it is:

to be honest the after picture looks less comfortable than the before. 359+shipping I'm guessing so more like 375, seems high to me I could have another shotgun. Just my first impressions.

Worth noting - if it matters - that it won't take 3 1/2" models and nearly a pound increase in weight though no doubt very centralized.

Interesting but I guess I'd like to shoot someone else's first.

I have been able to shoot one enough to get used to it (100) rds. The weight difference does not matter. The balance and weight distribution is the key. You are splitting it between both arms not just one. This makes it feel lighter and makes it a lot easier to manouver. I'll not convert all my 870s to this but will do at least one. It will probably be the one I grab first for gp and replace the Win md.12 takedown travel gun.
