bullseye, 45 acp, 200 grn jrn. need recipe.

i am wanting to realod som 45's for easter shoot. i was looking for a good load for 200 grn rainer jacketed round nose bullets. i am using bullseye powder. is 5.3 to 5.5 to much?? i tried the alinet website, but they only show loads fo lead wadcutters. can i use these for jacketed bullets??

website says.... 200 grn jh, 6 grns bullseye, 960 fps, and 19,400 psi./ is this okay. iam loading for a gloack 21. i know i said glock.

Been using 4.0 gr BE on my 200 gr lswc. Know people using 3.5 gr on 200 gr lswc. jacketed (plated) doesn't make that much diff but the oal might. Know some manuactures say to use lead data for plated bullets. Not too sure about that round.

I have some Rainier data that was posted on Midway's site 3 yrs ago. Last time I looked for it, it wasn't there. So use with caution, I guess. At least compare it to some other data and take into account that they are now saying to use lead data. Maybe the plating is thinner than it was back when this was posted. I certainly wouldn't push the limits.

BTW, I would think 5.3-5.5gr is ok, looking at this data. Still wouldn't hurt to work up to 5.5gr in .3gr steps (i.e 4.6gr, 4.9gr, 5.2gr, 5.5gr).
