I had an older Bushnell Sportview 3-9X32 that had fogged up because the seal broke. Scope still looked good, but hard to see through. So, I figured I would try out their lifetime warranty. Obtained a return number and sent it in. Today (Sunday), I came home from a grocery run to find a box on my front porch with a brand new Bushnell 3-9X40! I know the Banner 2 is not a "top of the line" scope, but it is nicer than the Sportview was and will suit my purposes on my AR build as a plinker/varmint eradicator around the house (I live out in the country now and we have the occasional coyote). I call that customer service and standing behind their lifetime warranty!

Bushnell, great company. Free replacement for my 21 year old scope.

Edit/Add- My Bushnell 3x9 30-06 deer rife scope is from the 1970's. No problems. Bought 2 "Trophy" models & both Savage Rifles came with Bushnell scopes, all within last 2 to 20 years.

Great scopes.

I hate to say it, but Hi Point has an equally awesome customer service.

That's true but there's a pricey caveat to their customer service: unlike some companies (to include Ruger and Smith & Wesson in my experience), you must pay for shipping costs. If you have to send a pistol back more than once, you've probably paid more in postage than the gun is worth.

I didn't pay any shipping, but maybe I was the exception and not the rule.

That’s better service than I just got from US Optics. I got an email saying, “We can not find any issue with your scope.” AFTER they had my scope for two months. They only sent that response AFTER I emailed them to inquire about what was taking so long.

Glad your Bushnell experience was so good.

I did the same thing, an old Sportview 2-7 that they couldn’t repair.

They sent back a 3-9x40 jobber that was too big but hey, it was free. I’ll sell it on eBay.

Wow! Incredible service. I had no idea their CS was that great. I have a few Bushnell scopes to include one on my first deer rifle I bought as a package more than 37 years ago and I would trade . The fact that I did not know that their customer service was that good is because I have never had to use it. My latest purchases of Bushnell scopes were the Forge models that were being discontinued at 50% off a couple of years ago. The Forge is what I put on my 10/22 for 200 yard shooting.

Thats the common response for most optics companies I've dealt with these days.
Ive even sent back a scope after two bad examples, asking to pay to upgrade, and had bushnell send me the next level of scope for free.

I have only needed their warranty service once. Around 20 years ago I purchased a 10/22 at Walmart and the cheapest 3x9 Bushnell scope made at the time to go on it. Down the road a few years the crosshairs in the scope disappeared and I called Bushnell to see what they would do about it. They told me it was warranted and to send in in. In about 10 days I had a brand new scope of a higher grade than the one that failed. It is hard to beat service like that. I have several Bushnell scopes now but not bottom of the barrel ones and have had no problems with any of those.
