I had done about 2 weeks of research on this scope before buying one from a major photography equipment store. I mounted it on my Sako 75 .308 assuring the Millett Anglelok rings. To install the rings, the base clamp screws were backed out 2 full turns on each side then very evenly the screws were tightened 1/4 turn on each side until they were torqued to 20 in-lbs. The windage adjustment on the scope was set to exactly mid travel in the span of adjustament. Upon arriving at the range, the 100 yd 3” black circle I used to bore sight the rifle looked to be pretty damned centered. Upon firing the rifle I was off by about 1” to the right. I made the final adjustement by tweeting the windage clamps screws on the rings (front ring only) 1/8 of a turn and that brought the POI dead centered at 100. Retorqued the screws. Finished at 100yds by adjusting my elevation to dead on at 100yd. I decided to test the sub tensions on the reticle and immediately switched to the 6” steel plate at 300yds. Still on 15x I squeezed off a round and cha-Ching...Dead center on the plate. Time and time again. Very happy with the scope so far! Anyone else has any opinions about this scope? Thanks. Sorry for the long read.
