Hi, all.
I'm interested in a reasonably priced (under $200) scope for hunting with a .25-06. My max range would be about 300 yards. I'm thinking about the Bushnell Trophy (3-9x40)and would like to know if anyone has any experience with this scope or others in the Trophy line.
Someone recently gave me an old Bushnell Stalker 3x-9x, which I think is about equivalent to the Bushnell Banner. I threw it on a .308 for sighting in, thinking I'd replace it later, but I've been so impressed with its brightness and clarity that I'm thinking about another Bushnell for the next scope I buy, for the .25-06. I have a Leupold VXii on another rifle and appreciate its eye relief and quality, but frankly this freebie Bushnell Stalker is so good that I'm questioning whether its worth spending three times the money to get another Leupold.
