Arguably, hidden guns have more of a deterrent effect since the authorities have no idea where they are, or how many there are. Secrecy is a "force multiplier."

That might be true for military operations, who are not concerned with the RKBA. However, the conclusion of this statement is that banning even more gun items would be even a better deterrent of tyranny. Don't buy it.

Bren and Owen gun values would shoot through the roof when cheap hopper feed conversions hit the market...

current President’s president

Who is Trump's president? Precedent might better a better word there. ;)

If it's time to bury them, it's time to dig them up.

And "feed strips." What guns use feed strips? Japanese LMG's, Hotchkiss, Benet-Mercie's? These are all relics. Do the people that draft these bills even know what they're talking about?

The banned feeding devices would have to hold more than 10 rounds. A single link holds, at most, 2 rounds. Keep the links unlinked, and you haven't violated the law.

They think silencers are illegal because they are in some states but know people legally own them. The process to obtain the device remains a mystery to them.

No. They and their staffs have no comprehension of what they are legislating about. I know a former state legislator in Maryland, she told me she was appalled at the sloppy, shoddy work done crafting legislation. These people don't seem to understand that all laws get people killed, either in the enforcement of the law or the process of having it enforced upon them.
