Hi, I have a stainless/synthetic 10/22 that I bought back in 2006. I was looking and I saw that there are BX-22 trigger groups being sold for $60. How much better is that trigger group than the trigger on my 10/22? I know the trigger on mine is sort of gritty. Is the BX-22 better? I also noticed that the BX-22 also includes a more ergonomic magazine release. Mine has the older flush style magazine release. Thanks.

If you find one you can try the trigger as Ruger packages the trigger group so you can cock the hammer and pull the trigger. Go shopping and try it out.

The BX22 trigger pack I installed in my 10/22 is crisper and lighter than the factory original pack.
It gives good, consistent ignition which tightened up groups on my rifle.

I don't like the new style mag release so I swapped in the original style. Also, the pack has no adjustment for pull weight and is a little too light for me.

If you can find one for $60, grab it quick
