Since the CA govt has seen fit to screw over gun owners, range owners and gun merchants, lets have a little payback.

We must convince all gun related businesses to follow suit with Ron Barrett and refuse to offer goods or services to the government of California until they cease all antigun efforts (such as the current bills). We can enforce this by refusing to do business with them unless they comply.

Everyone please start sending out emails/calls/letters to all the online stores or local (in CA) stores and ranges that you do business with and post any replies you get back in this thread. We can choose to favor business that react favorably to our boycott request and boycott businesses that refuse to comply.

We can start with CA because it is currently the worst. If we succeed in upsetting their current gungrabbing efforts, we can ramp up our effort and try to get stuff repealed in CA. Additionally, we can try this tactic nationwide.

The worst that will happen will be that the govt responds with dirty tricks and force, which will make our side look all the better and bring more people to our side.

wow , intereresting tactic!!!

how awesome would that be= cops in Ca can't buy guns cuz no noe will sell to them!.

uh, yeah ok good luck with thaT.

nice in theory, near impossible in practice

So, worst case scenario, we try it and it fails. Its not like it costs you guys money to help out with this. You are still sitting at your computer one way or the other.

It is better than whining isnt it?

Note that we dont have to succeed 100 percent. If even 10 percent of the vendors for the CA govt stop working with them, the police and nat guard will start to complain. If it makes the news, who knows what kind of momentum it could get?

yes, overall it is a great idea= if they got even one dept to have to travel to another county to get bullets etc, it would make the news.

i think the biggest problem will be the gun stores that depend on police biz to stay afloat.

BUT - you really got an idea there. in paritcular if a national brand or chain is being majorly used by CA govt, you could do this everywhere in US, it might actually make someone notice.

So what do we do about Wolf Ammo?

see its not the biz that is here, it is the biz that sells to govt here.

if wolf ammo supplies ca govt, and is distributed nationwide, everyone everywhere could send them a letter , and boycott them.....

Buy silver/brown/gold bear instead of wolf. There are plenty of cheap alternatives to buying from the pet brand of the CA govt. Besides, its just lacquered dog turds anyway.

We need to make a form email letter that we can send to vendors/resellers/manufacturers to inform them of our boycott of businesses that do business with the CA govt, find out how much such business they do and find out whether they intend to stop or not. Something polite that doesnt suggest we are totally spineless.

Any CA govt employees that know from whom their agency procures from would be helpful in this situation. If it turns out to be a bunch of resellers that only sell to the CA govt, we find out who owns those businesses and boycott any other businesses connected to them.

and/or if they tool up to do this serial number bovine scat so they can sell to the serfs, boycott too

(boy it helps that they make a crappy product ... if it was Winchester a boycott would hurt a little more)

I would say Wolf has already got half the gun owners in America already boycotting them. I guess this would finally do them in.

:D

I'm In.

Alright, Slurpy...I'm in. Give me a few days and I'll draft a short letter that can easily be tailored to the company.

I'm pretty sure that vendors to the government are public record. Anyone feel like doing some research?

OOooh! I feel invigorated! :D
