Caldwell Magnum Deadshot Tripod solid enough to sight in a rifle?

Not looking to sight in any magnum calibers here, .300 Blackout, 5.56, and 20 gauge bolt-action shotgun. Is the Caldwell Magnum Deadshot Tripod solid enough to sight in off of? (If it will work how large of caliber would you go up to?)

How much easier would a bench and like a Caldwell Lead Sled DFT-2 be vs. the Deadshot tripod?

Low recoil on flat ground at 100 yards yes! Anything over those specs no.
