California trip knife question...

Heading out to Yosemite with the family and want to bring a fixed blade for hiking/general purpose. I usually have a Northwoods Iron River on trips like this. It has a blade a little under 3”. Did some internet surfing and I can’t figure out if this is okay in California or not. Anyone know what’s up on fixed blade knives in CA? I guess backup plan could be a Mora unless they are not legal...

You can open carry that knife without any worries in CA.
