The Department of Homeland Security has announced that returning veterans are potential "right wing extremsts." This is based on an FBI memo. Janet Napolitano, the Secretary of Homeland Security stands by this announcement -- although the FBI is trying to backpeddal by saying, "What we really meant is that "right wing extremists" may try to recruit returning veterans.
Of course this contains the unspoken charges that there's something wrong with returning veterans and we have to watch them very carefully.
I propose the Director of the FBI and the Secretary of Homeland Security be impeached. I have contacted the two veteran's organizations I belong to, The Military Officers of America Association and the Military Order of the Purple Heart, and have received favorable replies.
I urge all veterans to contact their respective organizations -- let's bury them with a blizzard of demands for impeachment.
