After believing that my cabelas nylon cam lock belt was THE best all around belt, I'm disappointed with my findings. I have found that the belt is great for casual daily use with a bolstered gun or without, BUT have recently found when I run it tight and perform physically demanding duties/work the belt slips in the cam lock just enough to have to readjust! Annoying!

So what's out there for cam lock style belts that you cannot pull and overcome the lock slipping the belt loose.

I do not want to give up the infinite adjustability so want to stick with the cam lock.

The Wilderness Tactical Instructor Belt is considered by many to be the best gun belt ever made. I have the polymer lined version which is the stiffest option as far as twisting goes and it's fantastic. The more resistant to twisting your belt is the more comfortably it will carry a holster and keep it flat against your body. The buckle is infinitely adjustable and will not slip no_matter_what. When worn with sturdy pants it's rated as an emergency fall / repelling harness so there is zero chance it will ever loosen up while you're wearing it!

I am fairly limited/picky when it comes to gun belts. I don't like traditional belt holes. Because if you eat a decent sized meal you have to loosen your belt a whole inch to comfort your gut but now your firearm isn't as stable. And I can't stand nylon friction belts. Too much military time with crap belts, no matter what bell or whistle is on them.

I came across KORE belts and I am very impressed. I have one in leather and one in nylon. Very stiff even after years of wear and as adjustable as a nylon friction belt, but with a real buckle with some science behind it.

^^^^THIS^^^^

I also have one in leather and one in nylon. Haven’t slipped yet!

Be sure you are looking at their gun belts. Their “fashion” belts are similar but are not heavy duty.

I'm giving one of these bravo concealment cinturon belts a go, once it comes in the mail and I test it I will report back. This belt is half the price of the Aegis belt which I believe is the same design. I liked the stainless components on the Aegis better, but the cinturon is half the money has a 30 day money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty so I went with that.

I’ve been considering the bravo cinturon belt. I’ll be looking forward to what you have to say. The ares belts look great but I don’t really want to pay $100 or more for a belt.

I have been seeing a lot of belts with this style buckle lately. Seems like a good belt.

Remember with those Cobra buckles, unless you're using a paddle or snap on/snap off holster, you need to remove the buckle to put the holster/mag pouch on, and may need to remove the buckle to thread it though your belt loops. It isn't much more difficult than taking off a Wilderness Instructor belt, but it is different than a leather belt.

I had a Bigfoot steel belt for like 2 years but it was hard to wear all day as it was overly stiff. I carry about 8-10 hours a day 5 days a weeks so I need comfort. The BF belt didn't sag and supported my rig but it started hurting my back. A friend had the kore and swore by it, so I tried there tac version late last year and it's the best thing ever. Now I swear by it. Its stiff enough to hold any rig but it flexes and I can sit, walk or stand all day and best thing is I hardly feel it. If you haven't seen them I recommend you check them out. Theres a lot of videos on youtube, Its like a giant zip tie that zips to your exact waist size so your rig is snug.
