Can you identify all of these guns?

I think the "Scary" part is that unlike everyone here's stockpiles, each one of those 3520 rounds are likely to be used in a fight.
So thats 13 weapons, as opposed to toys. The guy was supposedly a Mexican citizen trying to cross the border. Maybe another fast/furious to come under President Facelift.

Very good point.

The scary part to me is 1. how did a citizen of another country come up with this collection of weapons - I assume they were stolen? 2. Were they going back to the cartel so they had more/better weapons to continue the drug war?

Yeah, many of us have more weapons and ammo than that, but, I venture to guess that most of us are not arming drug cartels.

I wonder from where the word 'scary' derived? Could it be the suspect was scary in his own right, apart from the firearms?
I tend to think most 'journalists' - sadly including FOX reporters - are often confused by words and statements, making up their own concoctions of what was meant.

By my own tastes, I find that assortment of arms rather laughable, rather than scary. Strikes me as being more an offering for sale than a private collection of any sort. If we ever find out the specifications in the indictment, that should shed some light on this.

Come on guys we’re you an LEO armed with only a side arm and this dude decided to resist arrest I’d say that was an appro statement. ;)

Wounder how many of the "automatic" weapons are merely self-loading. Sigh.

3250 rounds? Used to be just enough for a good weekend shooting . . .
Over 13 firearms, only about 25 rounds per each.

"The firearms seized included high-powered fully automatic rifles, shotguns, handguns and a .50 caliber rifle, the DPS said".

Same thing crossed my mind. Sometimes or actually more often than not terms like fully automatic tend to get embellished.

More like 250 rounds each. Most of the rifles look like AR variants. An obvious AK, I think an UzI , a fancy 1911, etc. The "full automatics" got him in trouble if not registered. Otherwise nothing unusual.

from the linked article:
"Thanks to @GovAbbott’s leadership, DPS continues its presence, including air, ground, marine and tactical security assets, along the border to combat the smuggling of people, weapons and drugs into Texas," the DPS tweeted.

The idea of a Mexican national smuggling weapons into Texas from Mexico is not far fetched: illegal shops in Tijuana Mexico have converted AR-15 lowers to full automatic for the cartels.

Stupid headline, a "scary" guy could only use one gun at a time, to be effective with it.
Usually Fox keeps it sorta real

He could have 1,000 guns and still only use one at a time.

I suppose if they only had one arm.. I can use 2.. :neener:
