I picked up a used TP9 Elite at my local shop today. It only came with one 15rd mag. I have seen that they are available on Century's site, but does anyone know if the 18rd mags fit this gun?
I've owned a TP9SA before and really liked it. The Elite is a little smaller, has a nice blacked out rear site and red fiber optic front sight. It's a nice set up.
Thanks.

They fit. One of the local guys run a TP9SFx with Taylor +4 Extensions for a 140mm legal 22 round mag. He carries one as a backup mag for the TP9SF Elite he carries.

I can't say how vulnerable the pistols are to damage when using long mags but note the Elite Combat comes with +3 Extensions rather than using the OEM Mecgar 18-Round.

I wonder if the tp9 mags are the same as the mags for the t100 mags

I think the TP9 Mags are essentially Walther PPQ Mags (Baseplate compatibility may vary by model) and the T100 and 120 use essentially CZ75 Compact and Standard Mags. May be a little variation in capacity, baseplate and exact retention notch location on one side but it's close enough to function.

I have a t-100 and c-100 and the idea of a 22 round mag was appealing. Maybe I can find a plus four base for a 15 round mag for these instead. I just know I’ve seen the tp9 mags cheaper in a few places

Originally, the Walther clone Caniks were supposed to run Beretta mags, via marketing before release. I believe they can run them with modification though.

The CZ style Canik mags will not work as far as I know, but they are all swappable with CZ, EAA witness, Sarsilmaz, Canik, Jericho for the CZ caniks

I know the early TP9 Mag will lock into a PPQ and even the baseplate matches up but it isn't quite right on the one from the later pistols. The physical location on one of the retention notches is slightly different so I might consider a little dremel work if it wasn't an expedient. The M9 Mag Tubes are the same but the base doesn't work and retention holes are in the wrong location.

I have a TP9SF Elite and any of the Canik TP9 magazines except the ones for the sub compact will fit. I have used the 15, 18 & 20 round mags. ProMag makes 18 & 32 round mags for the Caniks.

Check out the Canik Fanatik forum for info about the Caniks.

Thanks guys. I made it through the Canik Fanatik registration process after only 3 tries(lucky guess on the 3rd try). I stopped at a local gun shop that stocks mags and they had an 18rd mag. I asked about the 15 and they looked it up and said it was out of stock. I have read there's a spacer to use for the 18 and 20rd mags, but I haven't seen it listed anywhere.

I tried but they have ridiculous verification questions I seem unable to get right. Maybe another day.

I had to Google the answers in another browser window. I don't know why they do this, unless they had bad spam post problems in the past.

There is a guy over there selling 3D printed spacers.

The best extension bases I have found are these from Greg Cote, LLC. They are Mec-Gar and fit any of the TP9 mags. They are a +3 on the 15 round Canik mags. The Mec- Gar extension is identical to the ones on the 20 round factory mags.

I'll post some pics when I get to my desktop computer.

I checked my link in my previous message and find that Greg Cote is "closed" until 1/26/20. The Mec-Gar +2 extensions sold there are the same as the ones pictured on the 20 round mags below.

Pics of Canik TP9SF Elite and mags promised:

These are sold on eBay by seller goandrew22013

They are better than no spacer. I worry about over inserting the mags without them. The guy will ship up to 5 of them for $4 and sells them for $5 each.

The 20 round Canik Mags I have are 18 rounders with the Mec-Gar +2 base. This is how Century Arms/Canik sells them.

Edit: More info

The sleeves fit very snugly and don't slip around on the magazine body. The seller shipped quickly.

If you are talking competition type extensions the Taylor Freelance +4 are very well made and fit in the 140 mm restriction on the 18-Round Tube. They are spendy at $30 though. If I get good enough to actually be competitive I guess I'll have to break down and buy a bunch.
